High-Performance Imaging

At the core of the system is a scientific-grade, 20-Megapixel CCD camera (4800x4440 resolution) paired with an imported 2/3 inch, F1.2 motorized lens featuring precise numeric focus and aperture control.

• Exceptional Sensitivity: With a high Quantum Efficiency (QE) of 75%, 16-bit A/D (65,536 grey scales), and low read noise (3.1e-RMS), the system boasts a signal-to-noise ratio of 75.2 dB. This allows for the reliable detection of lower than 5pg of EB Stained DNA.

Advanced Illumination & Design

The system is housed in a robust, completely light-tight darkroom (External dimensions: 44 x 40 x 72 cm) to eliminate background interference.

• Standard Lighting: Includes dual Epi-white LEDs and a standard 590nm filter optimized for gel documentation.

• Transilluminator: Features a standard 302nm UV transmission source (21 x 26 cm area). Optional White LED and Blue LED transilluminators (21 x 19 cm area) are available to accommodate a broader range of safe dyes.
